Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, the Under Secretary of State and Spokeswoman for the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, issued a strong statement addressing this grave incident.

The attack, which took place at approximately 11:52 AM local time, involved heavy mortar and small arms fire directed at the Cambodian base located in the An Seh area.
